The Center for Development and Disability (CDD) is seeking a Counselor/Social Worker to provide direct services as part of the FOCUS Program within the Early Childhood Home and Family Services (ECHFS) Division. This role will serve families with children from birth to five years old who have or are at risk of developmental delays, including those who have experienced child abuse, neglect, and/or attachment disruptions. Services are delivered using a family-centered, developmentally and relationally informed approach. The Counselor/Social Worker will provide home- and community-based evaluation, intervention, and treatment services, and/or social work support services, depending on experience and licensure. The ECHFS Division offers a continuum of early childhood home visiting, early intervention, and clinical evaluation and treatment services. The FOCUS Program specifically provides integrated early intervention and family medical services. While this position is for the FOCUS Program, the Counselor/Social Worker may be assigned to any of these services, providing evaluation, service coordination, intervention, treatment, and/or community-based support within the ECHFS Division. Candidates with a strong commitment to working with high-risk families and Spanish-speakers are encouraged to apply. The role requires effective collaboration with internal and community partners, knowledge of community resources, understanding of state and federal reporting requirements, and strong organizational skills to meet program documentation and billing requirements.
