Requirements

Clinical master’s degree in social work or a related field.
Valid PA School Counselor certification.
A minimum of three (3) years' related experience required.

Responsibilities

Counseling students in the areas of academic, career, and personal-social development.
Assisting teachers in developing sensitivity to the particular needs of individual students.
Using test data and psychological assessment findings to assist with academic progress in special or gifted education, aptitude, and behavioral management to assist students for career and transition objectives.
Developing a comprehensive school counseling program that includes individualized education, career planning, and all other outside school activities necessary to ensure a successful social and academic transition toward future student goals.
