About The Position

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center in South Central Oklahoma, is seeking a self-motivated, dynamic, and team-oriented counselor for its outpatient clinic in Ada, Oklahoma. The position provides outpatient therapy to families experiencing behavioral health issues, using an integrated approach to care. The organization emphasizes hope, dedication, and community and provides tools and training to help team members meet expected performance standards. Training for this position will be provided as available.

Requirements

Master’s degree in a mental health or substance abuse-related field from an accredited university.
Two years of professional experience delivering clinical services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Oklahoma state licensure as an LPC, LBP, LMFT, LCSW, or LADC-MH.
Considerable skill in working with people and effectively treating social, emotional, and addiction problems.
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral form.
Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance.
Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities

Under general direction, provide professional mental health or substance abuse services to children, adolescents, and adults.
Participate in planning and delivering therapeutic clinical services to consumers and families using a wraparound team approach.
Work with groups and their caregivers, adults, and children; be willing to work with the entire family system.
