About The Position

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers is seeking a self-motivated, dynamic, and team-oriented Counselor II to provide outpatient therapy services to families experiencing behavioral health issues, using an integrated approach to care. The role is based at the Pauls Valley Clinic in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. The position serves children, adolescents, and adults and works with consumers, caregivers, and the entire family system in a wraparound team approach. Training will be provided as available.

Requirements

• Complete the curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in a mental health- or substance abuse-related field from an accredited university.
• Have two years of professional experience delivering clinical services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hold Oklahoma state licensure as an LPC, LBP, LMFT, LCSW, or LADC-MH.
• Demonstrate considerable skill in working with people and effectively treating social, emotional, and addiction problems.
• Express ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral form.
• Exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance.
• Be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional mental health or substance abuse services to children, adolescents, and adults under general direction.
• Participate in planning and delivering therapeutic clinical services to consumers and families using a wraparound team approach.
• Work with groups, caregivers, adults, children, and the entire family system.
