About The Position
Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Our mission is to provide high-quality behavioral health services in an environment that values service excellence, respect, and ethical standards, integrity, compassion, and teamwork. The Counselor Aide: Provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor or Charge Nurse. Supervision of a safe and therapeutic milieu Crisis intervention Activities of daily living. Positions open Part-Time (6:30a-3:00pm) or Full-Time or Part-Time (2:30pm-11:00pm) these positions includes working everyother weekend and holiday.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field
Nice To Haves
- Licensed nurse/CNA with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment or equivalent experience preferred.
