About The Position

Works under general supervision to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining programming and effective procedures pertaining to justice-involved individuals who are provided services by this agency. This role involves acting as a liaison with stakeholders, facilitating groups/classes, gathering and tracking client data, organizing team discussions, providing limited staff supervision and training, reviewing and managing caseloads, and maintaining consistent contact with clients through various methods.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years’ experience working in a criminal justice environment or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related field; OR An equivalent combination of related education, and/or experience.
  • PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
  • Ability to establish and maintain meaningful rapport with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to make presentations in courtroom and group settings.
  • Ability to develop and implement new program curriculums.
  • High level of organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and monitor details.
  • Ability to maintain a high-performance level while working independently
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and written.
  • Must maintain reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as liaison with stakeholders to enhance the work of Pretrial Services.
  • Assists in maintaining all appropriate certifications (Individual and Program related).
  • Facilitates groups/classes.
  • Gathers and tracks data related to clients and unit performance.
  • Organizes and leads team discussions to promote unit and department goals.
  • Provides limited staff supervision and training as needed.
  • Reviews and manages caseloads to ensure accuracy and appropriate responses.
  • Maintains consistent contact with clients via all acceptable and appropriate methods. This includes but is not limited to office visits, phone calls, courtroom contact and various technology and apps.
  • Performs other duties as required or directed.
