It’s our way of saying: we’re thrilled to have you here The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) prepares clinical and progress notes; participates in teaching the patient and family; and participates in in-service programs and case conferences. Following an evaluation by an Occupational Therapist, the assistant will follow the plan of care and perform COTA procedures as allowed by referral to aid restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities. This position must also be able to follow and adhere to the practices described in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual.
