About The Position

Our team is searching for a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our Duval County home health patients. Requirements

• Graduated after successful completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant education program accredited by: The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA), or its successor organizations.
• Is eligible to take, or successfully completed, the entry-level certification examination for Occupational Therapy Assistants developed, and administered, by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT)
• Licensed to practice within the state of Florida
• CPR certification required (Online certification not accepted).
• At least one year of institutional experience
• Reliable Transportation

Nice To Haves

• Member of the American Occupational Therapy Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services and assessments to patients in their homes
• Guide and instruct patients through prescribed therapeutic care.
• Assist in the implementation and development of patient care plans.
• Prepare progress notes following visits for patients’ charts.
