About The Position

Review and analyze merchandising, item, supplier, and warehouse data to ensure accurate conversion and alignment with business requirements. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation scripts to identify data discrepancies, mapping issues, and configuration errors. Validate item assortment, pricing, vendor relationships, warehouse servicing assignments, and category data across impacted systems. Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, business, and project teams to understand transition requirements and support issue resolution. Perform data validation and integrity checks to ensure accurate data movement between source and target systems. Document, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with project leads and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Monitor transition readiness by performing pre- and post-conversion audits to identify potential risks and ensure operational continuity. Create and maintain detailed testing documentation, validation reports, and project status updates. Assist with root cause analysis of data and system issues that may impact merchandising operations, inventory flow, or store execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, preferably in a store or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of database management, data integration, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using excel and power BI for data validation.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Experience with data migration and system integration projects
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Knowledge of retail systems and store operations.
  • Professional communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
