About The Position

Ace IT Careers is reviewing candidates for QA Tester and QA Analyst opportunities with employers and staffing partners across the United States. This opportunity may be suitable for recent graduates, career changers, professionals returning to the workforce, and candidates with basic software testing knowledge who want to build practical QA experience. Applicants who already meet technical requirements may proceed directly through our evaluation and recruitment process. Candidates who demonstrate potential but need additional technical preparation may also be offered an optional paid QA Training & Placement Support pathway before pursuing suitable opportunities. Applicants requiring additional preparation may be offered a separate paid QA career-development program.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, IT, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Manual Software Testing concepts.
• Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and defect reporting.
• Basic knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and testing processes.
• Willingness to participate in a technical readiness evaluation.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
• Exposure to Jira or another defect-management tool.
• Basic SQL or API Testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual software testing.
• Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Report defects and track their resolution.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Utilize Jira or other defect-management tools.
• Apply basic SQL or API testing knowledge.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
• Learn new technologies and testing processes.
• Participate in technical readiness evaluations.
