About The Position

Ace IT Careers is identifying candidates for QA Software Tester opportunities with employers and staffing partners across the United States. Requirements

• Strong interest in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Basic understanding of software or technology preferred
• Willingness to learn modern QA tools
• 0–3 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, IT, or a related area preferred.
• Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, test cases, and defect reporting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Manual Testing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Willingness to complete a technical readiness assessment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for every opportunity
• Previous professional QA experience is not required for all positions
• Exposure to Jira, SQL, API Testing, or Automation Testing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manual software testing
• Writing and executing test cases
• Functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Defect identification and reporting
• Jira and Agile/Scrum environments
• API and database validation
• Basic automation testing
• Working with QA, development, and business teams
