About The Position

The Cost and Pricing Analyst provides support for Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA) Foreign Military Sales (FMS). During the undefinitized period, the analyst determines allowable costs, ensuring adherence to all financial guidelines and regulations. As contracts move forward, the analyst supports negotiating the final price by providing detailed cost and pricing analysis to ensure fair and reasonable pricing for all parties involved. This role also involves conducting detailed cost and pricing analysis for FMS contracts, ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Requirements

  • 4 years of prior experience in defense contracting or FMS pricing
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance- must have and maintain
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in cost analysis and pricing strategies

Responsibilities

  • Contract Negotiation: Work with contracting officers and foreign governments to negotiate contract terms and pricing.
  • Data Submission: Ensure the submission of certified cost or pricing data when required and verify the adequacy of price competition.
  • Cost Management: Manage costs associated with doing business with foreign governments, including selling expenses and post-delivery support services.
