About The Position

Mace is hiring a Cost Manager to prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing and construction projects. The role manages client costs through cost validation, invoice reconciliation, and the creation, tracking, and closing of subcontractor costs. It also involves Purchase Order reporting, expense and capital spend tracking, invoice processing and aged-debt management, and overseeing supporting data for internal stakeholders. The position permits 100% telecommuting and reports to the company’s New York, NY headquarters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience in a related occupation.
• Experience or education in cost management.
• Experience or education with Microsoft Suite (MS Office tools).
• Experience or education with SAP.
• Experience or education with Ariba.
• Experience or education with Novartis processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing and construction projects.
• Manage client costs, including cost validation, invoice reconciliation, and creation, tracking, and closing of subcontractor costs.
• Report on Purchase Orders through weekly and monthly reporting.
• Track expense and capital spend.
• Manage the invoicing process, including creating and uploading invoices and tracking and managing aged debt.
• Oversee supporting data and share it with internal stakeholders.
