This senior Project Controls leadership role sits within our nuclear business, supporting complex engineering and construction programs that advance CANDU nuclear technology. You will play a critical role in driving project performance, cost confidence, and informed decision-making across the full project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Ability to apply advanced project controls methodologies on large, complex engineering and construction projects.
  • Proficiency in cost and schedule control techniques, including earned value management and critical path methods.
  • Aptitude for leading, mentoring, and building high-performing Project Controls teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong capability to learn and use specialized project controls software.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project setup aligns with established Project Controls processes and procedures.
  • Design and lead monitoring, control, and reporting of program and project performance across the full lifecycle.
  • Lead and develop a team of Cost Control professionals, including objective setting and performance management.
  • Analyze cost, schedule, and forecast data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide clear, actionable cost and schedule reports, recommending remedial actions where required.
  • Support client reporting, change management processes, and forward-looking cash flow forecasts.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all cost and finance-related matters on the project.
