Cost Accounting Manager
About The Position
As a Cost Accounting Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage the cost accounting function within the Process Technologies business. You will be responsible for overseeing cost accounting processes, analyzing cost data, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. Your expertise will help optimize cost control, improve financial accuracy, and drive operational efficiency. You will report directly to our finance leadership and you’ll work out of our Arvada, CO location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the financial performance and cost management of the Process Technologies division, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders.

- Experience in the process technologies or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the cost accounting team to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting and analysis.
- Develop and implement cost accounting policies, procedures, and controls aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze cost variances and trends to provide actionable insights and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and supply chain to optimize cost management and improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls related to cost accounting.
