About The Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team. As a Cost Accountant, you will play a key role in analyzing financial information and providing accurate and insightful reports to assist in the decision making process. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of cost accounting principles.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost accounting
Proficient in cost accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities

Analyze financial data and provide detailed reports on product costs, variances, and profitability
Monitor and evaluate inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies
Develop and maintain standard costing system for all products and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve cost control measures
Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Identify areas of potential cost savings and recommend strategies for improvement
