Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on inventory valuation, production run rates, manufacturing variances, material prices, and freight costs.
  • Develop and maintain standard costs, processes monthly cost allocations, and verifies monthly closing activities.
  • Create, maintain, and audit inventory master data, including item records, Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing routings, and related product structures, ensuring the accuracy of item attributes, units of measure, costing methods, pricing, purchasing information, and inventory classifications.
  • Coordinate all new item setup, item revisions, product obsolescence, and manufacturing master data changes while ensuring data integrity, cross-functional alignment, and consistency across departments.
  • Prepare, file, and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Assist in coordinating annual physical inventories and cycle count programs while investigating inventory discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
  • Perform periodic audits of inventory master data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
  • Periodically visit manufacturing facilities to understand production processes and cost drivers while identifying opportunities to improve costing accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures related to inventory item setup, inventory control processes, product costing, and sales tax administration.
  • Assist with onboarding new EDI trading partners, document mapping validation, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers.
  • Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform all tasks with great attention to detail, proper formatting, and correct grammar.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by TCC Materials Management.
