About The Position

Beloit Health System is seeking a Cosmetologist to join the NorthPointe Spa Team. The role provides cosmetology services—including manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxing—within the scope of the employee’s training and services. Treatments are adapted based on client feedback and response. The Cosmetologist helps schedule spa services, orders supplies and communicates with vendors, and works with staff to provide a high-quality spa experience. The position also includes documenting services according to department policy, marketing services, preparing and cleaning the work area, presenting an annual in-service to staff, and participating in community education and marketing programs.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Wisconsin or Illinois Cosmetology Program.
Illinois Cosmetology license.
CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple demands.
Maintain ethical conduct and confidentiality of clients’ personal and medical information.
Adhere to established Hospital and NorthPointe policies, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide cosmetology services, including manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxing, within the scope of training and services.
Modify treatments based on client feedback and response.
Order required supplies and communicate effectively with vendors.
Assist with scheduling spa services.
Work with staff to ensure a high-level spa experience for clients.
Complete documentation according to department policy.
Market services to potential clients and customers.
Prepare, maintain, and clean the work area to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Present an annual in-service to staff.
Participate in community education and marketing programs.
Participate in educational programs and seek personal development.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
