About The Position

Beloit Health System is seeking a Cosmetologist to join the NorthPointe Spa team. The Cosmetologist performs manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxing services within the scope of training and services offered. Treatments are modified based on client feedback and response. The role also supports spa operations, client experience, marketing, documentation, cleanliness, safety, and staff education.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Wisconsin or Illinois Cosmetology Program.
Illinois license in Cosmetology.
CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple demands.
Maintain ethical conduct and keep clients’ personal and medical information confidential.

Responsibilities

Perform cosmetology services, including manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxing, within the scope of training and services.
Modify treatments based on client feedback and response.
Order required supplies and communicate effectively with vendors.
Assist with scheduling spa services.
Work with staff to ensure a high-level spa experience for clients.
Complete documentation according to department policy.
Market services to potential clients and customers.
Prepare, maintain, and clean the work area to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Present an annual in-service to staff.
Participate in community education and marketing programs.
Participate in educational programs and pursue personal development.
Use the appropriate level of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
Adhere to established Hospital and NorthPointe policies, rules, and regulations.
