About The Position

Drybar is opening a new location in Seacliff Village, Huntington Beach, and is seeking a dynamic Hair Stylist Educator/Trainer. This role is for a passionate leader in the hair salon, spa, or beauty industry who excels in hair stylist training and delivering exceptional blowouts. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the owner to establish and grow the new shop. Requirements

• Must have the capacity and availability to fully engage in all pre-opening training requirements, including completing online training modules prior to in-shop training.
• Week long in-shop training to be held at an offsite location (travel will be required).
• Travel and hotel reimbursement provided that trainee completes ALL REQUIRED TRAINING.
• Highly motivated and results-driven professional committed to driving business growth through training excellence, continuous development, and achievement of ambitious performance goals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Available to participate in pre-opening marketing events, pop-ups, and community outreach activities.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist trainer or educator in the beauty industry in a hair salon, barber shop, or spa environment.
• Current and valid state Cosmetology license in the state of California.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Proven track record of stellar customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional blowouts.
• Work hand in hand with the owner to establish and grow the new shop.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new stylists to meet shop opening minimums in partnership with the owner.
• Participate in pre-opening marketing events, pop-ups, and community outreach activities.
• Foster a positive, learning-oriented culture for growth and development.
• Communicate effectively to achieve desired results and find solutions.
• Provide stellar customer service.
• Multi-task with ease and pivot easily in difficult moments.

• Pay ranges starting between $18.00 - $21.00/hour with opportunity for growth based on individual performance.
