Cosmetologist / Hair Stylist Educator / Trainer
About The Position
Drybar is opening a new location in Seacliff Village, Huntington Beach, and is seeking a dynamic Hair Stylist Educator/Trainer. This role involves training new stylists, delivering exceptional blowouts, and working closely with the owner to establish and grow the new shop. The educator will be a key leader in the shop, responsible for driving business growth through training excellence and achieving performance goals. This position also involves supporting hiring, onboarding, and training of new stylists, as well as participating in pre-opening marketing events and community outreach.
Requirements
- Must have the capacity and availability to fully engage in all pre-opening training requirements, including completing online training modules prior to in-shop training.
- Must be available for a week-long in-shop training at an offsite location (travel required).
- Highly motivated and results-driven professional.
- Committed to driving business growth through training excellence, continuous development, and achievement of ambitious performance goals.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Available to participate in pre-opening marketing events, pop-ups, and community outreach activities.
- Current and valid state Cosmetology license in the state of California.
- Exceptional organizational skills.

- Proven track record of stellar customer service.
- Ability to pivot easily with finesse in even the most difficult moments.

Nice To Haves
- Preferred minimum of 5+ years of experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist trainer or educator in the beauty industry in a hair salon, barber shop, or spa environment.
Responsibilities
- Train new stylists in blowouts, braids, and updos.

- Pay ranges starting between $18.00 - $21.00/hour with opportunity for growth based on individual performance
