About The Position
The Bloomingdale’s Cosmetics Counter Manager develops and supervises a team of highly productive Beauty Advisors who provide excellent service and sell the full assortment both in store and online. The role leads the team in building and maintaining client relationships, providing outstanding service and product knowledge, and maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. The Counter Manager ensures Beauty Advisors are welcoming, friendly, and engaged, while keeping productivity high, maintaining excitement on the sales floor, and putting customer needs first. The role creates an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store experience, drives sales with in-store and online clients through effective use of technology, and participates in merchandising and operational requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
