Corrugator Stacker Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Corrugator Stacker Operator - 2nd Shift position is a full-time hourly role responsible for operating a stacker machine in a manufacturing environment. The operator will ensure the accurate measurement and stacking of finished sheets, monitor the stacker process to prevent jams and errors, and communicate quality or mechanical issues to supervisors. This role requires adherence to all safety rules and procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and wearing required personal protective equipment. The operator will also be responsible for reading orders, counting and stacking finished product, and inserting tie sheets.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler
- Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
- Stable and verifiable work history
Responsibilities
- Measure finished sheet for accuracy
- Feedback quality concerns to control room or wet-end operators
- Remove non-conforming materials from stacker
- Remove scheduled side trim for baler
- Monitor stacker process, preventing jams or errors
- Place splice waste, etc., in scrap carts
- Monitor unit stacking, preventing errors
- Insert tie sheets for multiple outs
- Set optimization mode for required orders
- Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor
- Operate stacker safely
- Wear all required personal protective equipment
- Follow all company safety rules/procedures
- Keep work areas and surrounding areas clean and free of debris
- Lift up to 50lbs during shift
- Counting and stacking finished product
