About The Position

Corrpro Companies, a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business and subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company, is seeking an AMPP CP-certified Corrosion Technician II. The position involves testing, evaluating, and installing cathodic protection systems to help inhibit corrosion on a variety of structures. The technician works with objectives and instruction from senior staff, gathers and organizes field data, assists with reports, and helps diagnose system issues. The role requires weekly overnight travel to customer sites and may require weekend travel. A signing bonus is available.

Requirements

AMPP CP Tester (Level I) certification required.
Three years of cathodic protection system testing and troubleshooting experience required.
Strong teamwork, internal customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to travel overnight to customer sites each week and, if needed, over the weekend.

Nice To Haves

AMPP CP Technician certification preferred.
OSHA classes preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and perform work involving testing, evaluation, and installation of cathodic protection systems.
Work with objectives and instructions from senior staff using customer drawings and specifications.
Conduct test procedures and gather data for evaluation.
Collect structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements, and rectifier data.
Sketch rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and other design features on prepared drawings.
Assist senior staff with preparing survey reports and final job reports.
Sketch physical features of installation sites for later detail.
Organize and reduce gathered data and prepare charts and tables.
Assemble data for final client reports, including service recommendations.
Diagnose system difficulties observed during resurvey operations and recommend remedies.
Recommend system modifications as needed.
Apply skills learned as a Corrosion Technician I with increasing independence.
Maintain field test equipment, keep it in good operating condition, and make minor repairs.
