About The Position

This position is for a Corrector (CUPE) for the Introduction to Political Science course (POL1101, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves the marking of papers and exams, and the student must meet deadlines set by the supervisor. The teaching method will be delivered in person, but may change due to health measures. Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus. All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

  • Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.
  • Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student eligible for the position.
  • Must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor.
