About The Position

The selected candidate will be responsible for grading mid-term exams according to the grading rubric and guidelines provided by the professor. The work is for the MBA5720 Marketing course during the 2026 Spring/Summer Semester at the Telfer School of Management. The position requires good knowledge of marketing concepts, a university education in administration, marketing, or a related field, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. A cumulative GPA of 7.0 and a minimum grade of A- in MBA2720 or equivalent are required. Fluency in French is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with the best grades, prior experience as a teaching assistant or corrector for this course, and those enrolled in a Telfer School of Management program. Selected candidates may be interviewed. The number of hours may increase by 10% to 30% based on enrollment. Candidates must have access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam. Hours can be reallocated between tasks at the professor's discretion. The selected candidate must be located in the Ottawa region for the duration of the contract, including during the grading and marking period, except for official University holidays. The teaching or work method may be modified for health or other institutional reasons. Experience with online teaching and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams) is an asset.
