About The Position

Requirements
- Two years of experience in the locksmith trade; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic lock systems
- Perform routine inspections to ensure operability of equipment
- Produce keys, log lost or damaged keys, and adjust master key sets
- Maintain detailed logs of work performed on locks and equipment
- Determine needed tools and materials and submit purchase requests
- Oversee inmates performing non-security tasks and maintain related records
