About The Position
The Adams County Adult Correctional Complex is seeking a full-time Correctional Program Specialist. As a Correctional Program Specialist, you will be responsible for participating in the treatment and rehabilitation of participants of the Transition to Success program while maintaining appropriate safety and security practices. The primary function of this position is to provide operational and treatment support to participants of the Transition to Success program, to include work release participants.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must have FBI clearance via fingerprint prior to hire and renew annually.
Nice To Haves
- Be at least 21 years of age preferred (exceptions on a case-by-case basis).
- Associate degree in related field preferred.
- PA DOC Corrections Officer Basic Training Certificate (can be obtained after hire).
- First Aid, CPR certification (can be obtained after hire).
- Previous experience in a Correctional Facility is preferred, but not required.
