This position supports the statewide promotion and sale of Correctional Industries products and services by building strong customer relationships and providing reliable information.

Requirements

• One year of professional sales experience in a manufacturing or service oriented production operation, and a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a closely related area; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the following counties: Bradford, Carbon, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne, or Wyoming.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Meet with officials to promote products and gather information about their needs
• Visit Correctional Industries shops to stay familiar with product lines and services
• Prepare orders, price quotes, reports and marketing materials for customers
• Maintain customer records and prepare weekly activity reports
• Follow up on customer concerns, inquiries and account activity
