About The Position

This position is responsible for subscribing to, adhering to, and sharing the Doctrines, Mission, and Positions of The Salvation Army. It serves as an evangelist to the community and constituency of the Corps, developing and leading worship services and ministerial programs, and providing spiritual guidance and leadership. The role also involves assisting in the planning, coordinating, administration, monitoring, evaluating, and developing of the day-to-day operations of the Corps, developing and leading religious programs, and participating in social service programs providing assistance to people in need.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, Or Three years’ experience performing mission work or experience participating in program development for a church or corps. Or Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
This position requires an active, uniform-wearing Salvationist in good standing.
Valid States Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Serves as an evangelist through the proclamation of Jesus Christ as redeemer with the intent of impacting the lives of men and women through spiritual regeneration responsibilities.
Assists in the planning and implementing of worship and outreach programs for the corps that reach across all age groups.
Plans, develops, prepares, and leads specific youth ministries programs; leads or assists with regular meetings for Adventure Corps.
Assists and partners in developing Salvation Army evangelical mission outreach and growth.
Assists in developing, leading and/or supporting Salvation Army evangelical mission programs and ministries in corps/club.
