About The Position

Manifest Law is seeking a Corporate Immigration Practice Owner, an experienced employer-side attorney ready to significantly scale their practice. This role is designed for individuals who have managed employer immigration programs, including H-1Bs, PERMs, intracompany transfers, and global mobility. Manifest Law provides a comprehensive platform that removes non-legal work, offering a base salary during the scaling phase, an inbound corporate client pipeline through its business development and marketing engine, and purpose-built technology. This technology includes automated workflows for attorney-paralegal-client coordination, smart draft review with quality benchmarking, and a unified context hub for case management. The position also comes with dedicated paralegal and operational support, allowing attorneys to focus solely on legal work. The compensation structure combines a base salary with profit sharing, with a higher percentage for self-sourced clients. The Practice Owner will be the public face of the corporate immigration practice, engaging in thought leadership, social media, events, and client presentations, and will be responsible for leading, building, and developing legal teams to uphold Manifest's high standards of aggressive SLAs, rigorous legal quality, and proactive client communication.

Requirements

  • J.D. and active bar admission
  • 7+ years of employer-side immigration experience
  • Experience managing or developing legal teams
  • Comfort with public visibility (thought leadership, social, client events)
  • A professional network in HR, Legal, or People Ops circles
  • The ambition to build a practice, not just run a docket

Responsibilities

  • Manage employer immigration programs (H-1Bs, PERMs, intracompany transfers, global mobility).
  • Scale their practice further and faster using Manifest's technology, business development engine, and operational infrastructure.
  • Be the face of the corporate immigration practice, featured in Manifest's content, on social media, at events, and in client-facing presentations.
  • Lead, build, develop, and hold attorneys to Manifest's standard.
  • Ensure aggressive SLAs, rigorous legal quality, and proactive client communication.
