Requirements

  • 4–7 years of dedicated experience in immigration law, with a strong background in employment-based immigration (both temporary visas and permanent residence processes).
  • Prior exposure to labor and employment law is required.
  • Masterful knowledge of immigration law and practice, backed by superior legal research, innovative problem-solving, and precise drafting abilities.
  • Admittance to practice law in the State of Florida is highly preferred (Florida Bar), though qualified out-of-state corporate immigration attorneys will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of a diverse, high-volume caseload from inception to resolution with limited supervision, managing each step in the legal matter lifecycle.

  • Handle employment-based and family-based green card processes, naturalization applications, waivers of inadmissibility, and corporate I-9 compliance audits.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research into immigration laws, regulations, and evolving government policies to provide accurate, strategic advice to institutional and individual clients.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, and stakeholders, and represent clients during interviews before USCIS.
  • Work seamlessly with shareholders, fellow attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff on multi-layered, complex immigration issues.
  • Actively participate in practice group strategy meetings, team-building events, client consultations, seminars, and networking activities to expand the firm's immigration footprint.
  • Maintain precise, up-to-date daily accounting of billable and non-billable time spent on projects while upholding strict ethical and confidentiality standards.
