About The Position

This job provides for the delivery of health promotion activities including screenings at all corporate wellness events for the promotion of the organization, its facilities and physician staff to both corporate clients and the community. Assists licensed and ancillary team members with assigned responsibilities and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for the delivery of health fairs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • None. (Work Experience Required)
  • Clinical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage in frequent travel throughout and between facilities and to and from health fairs and screening events.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts health promotion activities including screenings at all corporate wellness events for the promotion of the organization, its facilities, and physician staff to both corporate clients and the community.
  • Maintains equipment used at health fairs and screening events.
  • Maintains all necessary documentation required by corporate wellness and the health system.
  • Participates in activities for professional development and maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training and credentials.
  • Represents corporate wellness and the organization in a positive and professional manner at all health fairs and screening events.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
