About The Position

We are seeking a hybrid creator who is proficient in both lighting interviews and managing post-production timelines. This role involves collaborating with marketing, PR, and product teams to identify video needs and then executing the production process from concept to final export. Responsibilities include capturing customer testimonials, creating motion graphics, explaining software features, and handling video production for events like the annual Empower conference. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the Long Beach, CA office and remote work on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility for travel and extended hours when necessary.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of video production and editing experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without missing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Team player mentality, focused on project success.
  • Experience lighting subjects, capturing good audio, and piecing together compelling narratives.
  • Experience creating motion graphics.
  • Authorization to work for Laserfiche in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Operate professional in-house cinema camera configurations, lighting setups, and audio gear to capture high-quality video and sound.
  • Direct subjects, including executives and customers, to ensure they appear natural on camera.
  • Manage the equipment room, provide procurement recommendations, and oversee the digital pipeline, including media organization, project file management, and archiving.
  • Handle the physical aspects of production, such as carrying equipment, lifting, and setting up cameras, lights, and grip gear on location.
  • Perform photography duties, including executive headshots, team photos, and event coverage.
  • Edit raw footage (interviews, b-roll, screen recordings) into engaging product videos, social clips, and culture pieces.
  • Ensure all published content adheres to brand guidelines for consistency and visual appeal.
  • Perform color correction and grading using Adobe Premiere's Lumetri color system, and mix audio for a polished sound.
  • Create motion graphics in collaboration with the marketing team to enhance video content.
  • Develop storyboards and pitch ideas to map out product stories and highlight customer benefits.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and the communications team to align on project goals and ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor video analytics and optimize elements like thumbnails, graphics, and captions to maximize viewership and engagement.
