About The Position

Penske Transportation Solutions is seeking a dynamic Technical Recruiter to join their corporate staffing team. This role involves managing the full lifecycle recruitment process for a wide array of technical and business-critical positions, including software development, data engineering, enterprise architecture, systems support, and business operations. The recruiter will be instrumental in building world-class teams that drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. The company emphasizes its commitment to data and technology. The position requires at least 3 years of progressive recruiting experience supporting corporate and technical functions, with demonstrated success in similar roles. A Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of equivalent work experience is required. The role reports to the corporate recruiting manager and is based out of the corporate offices in Green Hills/Reading, PA, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least 4 days in the office per week.

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition to onboarding for technical and strategic roles, including sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand role requirements, define candidate profiles, and create targeted recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels—social media, professional networks, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach—to identify and engage top-tier active and passive candidates.
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring clear communication, timely follow-up, and a seamless process from start to finish.
  • Conduct intake meetings to align on role objectives, define success criteria, and set realistic timelines and expectations.
  • Represent Penske at recruiting events, including job fairs, university partnerships, and networking events.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state employment regulations, as well as internal hiring policies.
  • Build and sustain strategic talent pipelines and relationships with staffing vendors or search firms for specialized hiring needs.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics through applicant tracking systems and other HR tools to optimize efficiency and inform strategy.
  • Support Penske’s diversity and inclusion initiatives across all stages of the recruitment process.
