About The Position

GFL is expanding and seeking a Corporate Talent Acquisition Partner in Vaughan. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for corporate positions, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. The position involves consulting with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and Corporate Leadership teams on workforce planning, market trends, and executing recruitment strategies. The role reports to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition, with a background in corporate recruitment (in-house or agency environment preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong computer literacy with effective working skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional consultative, advisory, and relationship-building skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and diverse personalities under pressure.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an in-house advisor to the business, consulting with hiring managers and business partners on workforce planning, market trends, compliance, and recruitment best practices.
  • Independently build, own, and maintain critical, trust-based relationships with external candidates and internal stakeholders across all levels of a diverse organization.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for corporate positions, building robust talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and headhunting while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Deliver formal employment offers, clearly communicating details regarding compensation, benefits, and agreements, while initiating and conducting required background checks.
  • Maintain strict data accuracy within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday, and organize confidential HR records and files with the utmost discretion.
