About The Position

FujiSan Franchising Corp is a leading national franchisor that brings fresh grab-n-go sushi and other Asian inspired products to retail grocery stores, warehouse clubs, universities and corporate dining. We are seeking a Corporate Chef to lead the innovation and development of new products from concept to launch.

Requirements

  • 5 years experience as a sushi chef
  • Microsoft Office products at an intermediate level proficiency
  • ServSafe certified
  • United States work authorization

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Culinary degree
  • 3 years experience as an R&D sushi chef proficient in developing recipes for products to be sold in a grab-n-go environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop new menu items for implementation to our locations. This will include writing recipes and formulas consistent with established methodologies.
  • Author training materials for new menu items as part of the implementation process to ensure consistent execution.
  • Participate in sales meetings to new and existing clients.
  • Some overnight travel required
  • Presenting a clean and professional image and representing FujiSan in a professional manner
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned
