About The Position

Join a passionate team in the aviation industry at Piedmont Airlines, known for its industry-leading customer service. Piedmont is seeking a motivated and reliable Senior Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition Department. This role is crucial in assisting leadership with sourcing and assessment strategies, collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, and potentially providing supervisory oversight to other Talent Acquisition team members. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent experience and strong knowledge of Workday HRIS.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Broad Workday HRIS knowledge
  • Three years of recruiting experience
  • Experience using the Workday HRIS and Applicant Tracking System
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and diplomacy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professionalism
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
  • Clear driving record
  • 10-year Criminal History Records Check
  • Drug screen
  • Proof of high school or GED completion
  • Minimum 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Formal Recruiter Certification
  • PHR or SHRM Human Resources Certification

Responsibilities

  • Assist leaders in shaping sourcing and assessment strategies, technology, and tools, by providing subject matter expertise and guidance in order to identify and hire expert talent
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and source applicants
  • Develop reports by analyzing key trends, return on investment and business impact of existing recruiting strategies to provide a basis for data-driven decision making and business needs
  • Execute full-cycle, high volume recruiting for a diverse requisition load spanning multiple levels and technologies
  • Screen resumes, facilitate interviews, negotiate offers, create offer letters, and provide feedback to create an exceptional candidate experience
  • Generate and audit job descriptions, requisitions, and position-specific screening questions
  • Build strong relationships with hiring leaders and provide them with expert guidance on all aspects of the talent acquisition process
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, HR Business Partners, Coordinators, and candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle by ensuring regular communication, providing progress updates, and offering guidance
  • Ensure applicant tracking system is current by documenting information throughout the hiring process including status, interview notes and dispositioning
  • Depending on business need, may oversee other Talent Acquisition team members, including assigning work, coordinating schedules, approving routine requests, and providing coaching
