About The Position

The Corporate Security Military Development Program is a two-year rotational program designed to help veteran leaders leverage their military experience and skills within a corporate environment. The program aims to provide associates with the tools for professional development, realizing their potential, and maximizing contributions to Bank of America. It focuses on Corporate Security functions, offering two different assignments in two different groups. Participants will engage in activities that foster teamwork, networking, and demonstrate Bank of America's vision and culture. The program encourages leadership development through initiatives, teams, and strategy. We seek elite associates capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, learning new tools quickly, and possessing strong interpersonal skills. Professional/academic experience should include technical and management expertise in areas such as team management, statistical analysis, volume forecasting, change management, project management, and data management.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree (required) with outstanding academic qualifications.
  • Served honorably in the U.S. Military within the past 2 years and/or currently serving in the Reserves or National Guard.
  • NCO or Junior Military Officer Background in Military Intelligence / Physical Security / Law Enforcement
  • Experience leading exercises (tabletops, drills, workshops)
  • Experience conducting physical security red team assessments.
  • Experience conducting threat and vulnerability assessments.
  • Experience as an investigator

Responsibilities

  • Administering the security intelligence/analysis program for a large geographical region.
  • Reviewing and analyzing information from various sources and contacts, with general knowledge of source systems.
  • Formulating habitual and proactive reporting, briefings, and assessments for management and/or internal customers, focusing on the impact to BAC employees, facilities, or operations.
  • Performing complex analysis and identifying/briefing emerging threats and trends.
  • Functioning as a crisis reporter and/or team lead during security-related incidents and when designated as an on-call analyst.
  • Keeping stakeholders informed of potential security issues using knowledge of intelligence practices, threat analysis, forecasting, and analytical methodologies.
  • Evaluating potential impacts of identified threats and vulnerabilities on the organization's operations, assets, and personnel.
  • Providing subject matter expertise and guidance to teams supporting technology applications and access provisioning.
  • Participating in, or leading, highly visible intelligence/analysis related projects.
  • Reviewing observations to identify trends in physical security best practices and improvement opportunities.
  • Researching physical security threats to Bank of America owned and leased facilities to facilitate realistic and relevant exercises.
  • Conducting elevated security exercises, including red team assessments, to drive a threat vulnerability assessment within the risk framework.
  • Driving enterprise readiness for critical events through training, exercises, and red team programs.
  • Conducting security reviews of critical facilities and coordinating/supporting Threat Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs).
  • Leading after-action reviews to strengthen response and continuously improve capabilities.
  • Conducting threat assessments to mitigate the risk of workplace violence and other safety and security related threats.
  • Partnering on the development of threat management and workplace violence training.
  • Collaborating with other lines-of-business to capture the full spectrum of possible threats and vulnerabilities to physical security.
  • Documenting and delivering reports on operational findings, detailing vulnerabilities in physical security measures.
  • Researching target facilities prior to operations to gather information, identify possible vulnerabilities and finalize objectives for Red Team members.
  • Communicating physical threats and vulnerabilities with Global Corporate Security’s senior leadership to implement physical security recommendations.
  • Supporting Corporate Security executives in defining, prioritizing, and executing strategic initiatives across security operations, intelligence, executive protection, and resilience programs.
  • Driving end-to-end execution of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that strengthen enterprise security capabilities and readiness.
  • Supporting governance routines, including leadership forums, strategic reviews, and regulatory or risk-based reporting.
  • Developing and delivering insightful analytics to assess program effectiveness, operational performance, and emerging risk trends across Corporate Security.
  • Translating complex security data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve scalability of security programs.
  • Supporting the annual and multi-year strategic planning process for Corporate Security.
  • Providing thought leadership and business acumen to inform decisions across security functions and lines of business.
  • Facilitating strategic reviews, including preparation of executive-level materials and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Acting as a central point of coordination for enterprise-wide security initiatives impacting multiple lines of business.
  • Promoting alignment and standardization of practices across global Corporate Security teams.
