The Security Officer maintains the security and safety of the Belk Store Services’ Corporate associates, contractors, vendors, visitors and other tenants. This role involves maintaining a constant mobile patrol of BSS buildings and grounds, monitoring alarm and CCTV systems, responding to incidents, and enforcing security regulations. The position also includes managing access control, providing escorts, assisting with fire safety and evacuations, and conducting basic safety inspections. Additionally, the role supports loss prevention services for selected stores and assists with various logistical tasks such as conference room reservations and contractor access.
