About The Position

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for full lifecycle recruitment activities inclusive of, sourcing, recruitment and selection of qualified candidates to fill open requisitions for various company functions. The Corporate Recruiter relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals while referring complex problems and issues for management consult. Develops, initiates, executes, and evaluates recruitment strategies that include current resources and trends, and acts as an advisor to the supported business. Participates in all recruitment events. Handles administrative tasks associated with sourcing, screening, interviewing and recommending candidates to management. Ensures successful onboarding of new hires, participates in Orientation as needed. Sources and recruits qualified talent using a variety of recruitment methods to include all web based tools and methods, networking referrals, cold calling/direct sourcing of passive candidates, job fairs, and driving of the employee referral program. Builds a pipeline of candidates in order to fill new positions quickly and meet our department metrics. Establishes and grows relationships with professional networks, the community and college contacts and promote PC Connection's mission. Builds and maintains effective relationships with the management team to ensure understanding of goals and to hire a team of talent that will find success for themselves and PC Connection. Partners with the management team and assigned HR partners to brainstorm and deploy recruitment and/or retention strategies. Evaluates strategies for effectiveness. Ensures successful onboarding of new hires to include communication with the new employee prior to start date and on their first day. Handles administrative tasks associated with sourcing, screening, interviewing and recommending candidates to management. Coordinates all pre hire assessments, interviews and offers while documenting all candidate activity in our applicant tracking system and ensuring compliance with all laws regarding employment. Submits and evaluates background checks and conducts professional references. Processes all candidate actions through ATS Utilizes a variety of tracking tools such as the New Hire spreadsheet Handles Job Fair registration and coordination of materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years full life cycle recruitment for positions at varying levels of difficulty
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Collaborator with ability to work as a team member
  • Solid track record of setting high standards of performance; assuming responsibility and accountability for success
  • Knowledge of HR Laws and compliance activities to include Adverse Action, WOTC, Non-Competes, FCRA, Ban the Box, etc.
  • Experience in web recruitment tools to include Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards, Google, etc.
  • Proven ability to utilize appropriate interpersonal styles to establish effective relationships with all candidates and colleagues
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite with the ability to create tracking spreadsheets, develop, word documents and update PowerPoint slides
  • Experience with an ATS and HRIS system to include adding, deleting, editing candidate/employee information
