A position responsible for full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, referring applicants for positions and ensuring all new hires experiences a smooth and thorough onboarding into their new role. The role involves managing positions by partnering with managers to understand their staffing needs, maintaining thorough knowledge of all specialized functions in the company, and developing and maintaining vendor relations for posting job ads, negotiating posting contracts and pricing. The recruiter will develop and post job ads utilizing all available advertising sources, source and screen resumes for potential candidates using a variety of tools, identify and develop relationships with trade schools as well as state and county employment agencies, and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (Workable). Responsibilities also include writing candidate assessments after completing phone screens, providing feedback to hiring managers, conducting background checks and coordinating drug-screens for all new hires, conducting the onboarding process for new hires, coordinating and scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, conducting all related pre-employment screenings, negotiating job offers, coordinating and communicating employment start dates and orientation, and writing and forwarding rejection letters. The role requires regular communication with managers and employees to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads, full participation in the thorough onboarding of new hires to ensure successful acclimation, proposing and implementing ongoing improvements to the recruitment process, attending job fairs and college fairs, and partnering with area employment agencies for temporary and contract placement. The pay for this position is a salary of $60,000-$65,000 plus the potential of a monthly incentive.
