Requirements

• Students should be enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in college.
• Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)
• General understanding building management
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans
• Familiar with computer software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Competency to learn new software tools
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• A major in facilities management, finance or real estate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with commercial leases, operating costs and related correspondence.
• Analyze property management issues, review proposals, coordinate service/maintenance work and process invoices.
• Communicate with branch associates, contractors and management to carry out repairs and routine maintenance.
• Work with other departments in Auto-Owners real estate division, including facilities, security, and contract management.
• Assist in non-construction projects within the real estate division as needed.

Benefits

• Rate of pay starts at $18.00 per hour.
