About The Position

Our Corporate Print Specialist will oversee all printing, finishing, and distribution of work completed on large inkjet printers supporting our purpose of working together to serve our customers. In this role you will: Assist supervisor in monitoring Corporate Print Center performance, maintaining operational logs, and other activities, while working with a high-speed commercial continuous form inkjet printers. Complete accurate reporting requirements when equipment or application systems perform abnormally. Distribute completed printed work effectively and accurately based on instructions provided. Meet and/or exceed quality control standards and procedures within department. Monitor printing equipment for messages and react accordingly to directions from application procedures or WPS guidelines and standards. Perform set-up and operation of printing equipment, ensuring proper supplies are maintained. Schedule, process, and complete all finishing tasks; distribute completed work.

Requirements

  • US. citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 or more years of production or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to physically handle large paper rolls, printed reports, and lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as physical exertion i.e.: pushing and pulling carts.
  • Experience using a computer and software applications, such as Microsoft Office suite and manufacturing or production-based software.
  • Technical aptitude and good problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with data entry and using computer applications i.e.: printing software, Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in production/print environment this could include: Operating and working with automated shrink wrappers.
  • Working with folding and creasing machines.
  • Utilizing large scale or commercial continuous form printers, printing roll to roll.(Such as Ricoh, Tecnau).
  • Working with production-based software such are Ricoh Process Director and Fiery.
  • Operating and working with offline mergers and cutters.
  • Operating book binders.
  • Operating sheet feed laser printers.
