About The Position

Battelle is seeking an experienced Corporate Pilot-Captain to join its Corporate Aviation team. The position provides safe, professional, and reliable air transportation aboard company aircraft, with a strong commitment to passenger safety and a high-quality travel experience. The role is located in Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements

• Pass an FAA Class 1 Medical Exam.
• Have a valid passport.
• Be able to obtain, at Battelle’s expense, an FAA type rating in the Falcon 50EX aircraft.
• Have at least 3,500 total logged flight hours, including 1,500 hours as pilot in turbine-powered multi-engine aircraft.
• Maintain pilot-in-command currency in the Falcon 50EX.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe flight conduct in coordination with the other crew member and in accordance with FAA regulations and Battelle policy.
• When dispatched as pilot-in-command, exercise final authority and overall responsibility for the safe conduct of the flight.
• Conduct trips in a way that best serves passengers’ needs.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections to ensure airworthiness.
• Perform departmental aviation duties when not flying, including recordkeeping and revisions.
