About The Position

The Corporate Partnerships and Events Coordinator provides vital administrative and project coordination support within the Strategic Partnerships & Special Events team at Ronald McDonald House Atlanta. This role helps drive the success of corporate development initiatives, Signature Special Events, and community engagement activities—including partnership efforts with the Greater Atlanta McDonald’s Owner/Operator Association. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about Ronald McDonald House Atlanta’s mission to keep families close. Strong communication, project management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities are essential in this fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, event planning, or communications preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in development, event coordination, or donor relations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with donor databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for mission-driven work.
  • Must pass a federal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, event planning, or communications preferred.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of Ronald McDonald House Atlanta’s Signature Events (e.g., Handbag Hullabaloo, Red Jacket Golf Classic, Gala, Bones, BMW, Wine & Fries) and community fundraisers.
  • Assist with venue logistics, vendor communications, registration, guest lists, and event check-in processes.
  • Track sponsorship commitments, invoicing, and ensure fulfillment of sponsor benefits.
  • Coordinate volunteer involvement in collaboration with the Volunteer Services team.
  • Assist with cultivation and stewardship of corporate donors—identifying new prospects and supporting relationships with current and lapsed partners.
  • Prepare thank-you letters, donor reports, impact updates, and other stewardship materials.
  • Monitor sponsorship deliverables to ensure companies receive recognition, benefits, and engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate corporate donor records in Raiser’s Edge and support reporting and database management.
  • Assist with the McDonald’s Round-Up initiative by tracking performance, coordinating recognition materials, and facilitating communication with Owner/Operators.
  • Serve as a liaison for third-party fundraising efforts, offering guidance and support to individuals and organizations hosting events for Ronald McDoanld House Atlanta.
  • Assist with Young Professionals Group planning, communications, and event logistics.
  • Support peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns with toolkits, messaging, and engagement strategies.
  • Maintain tracking systems for events, sponsorships, and donor engagement activities.
  • Prepare reports, meeting agendas, presentations, and outreach materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure brand and messaging consistency.
  • Support other fundraising initiatives and special projects as assigned.
