Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience installing/troubleshooting/repairing security system or fire alarm systems
Excellent communication and telephone skills
Ability to quickly connect in-person and in writing, and to actively listen.
Technical and/or Mechanical knowledge and abilities
Strong proficiency with computers and various software’s
Ability to coach and mentor resources
Ability to foster teamwork and lead with positive influence
Valid driver’s licenses with acceptable driving record
The ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

Run daily alert reports to determine systems that are in Communications Failure
Troubleshoot, and correct Communications Failure when possible
Contact customer directly, if needed
Create work order if unable to resolve Communications Failure and send to servicing branch
Communicate with the assigned branch coordinator as needed
If the system must be upgraded, or equipment needs to be replaced, inform customer of the situation, send a proposal along with a new monitoring agreement to reflect the new equipment and rate (if applicable)
Support branches with all monitored equipment tech related questions, concerns and issues.
Train and mentor team members on how to understand communication issues on alarm panels
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Follow Koorsen policies and procedures.
Ensure timely and professional communication with coworkers, customers and vendors.
Represent Koorsen in a professional manner.
