About The Position

ATCS is seeking a Corporate Marketing Manager to serve in a high-visibility, cornerstone role during a period of strategic growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will act as a strategic architect bridging the gap between Strategic Sales, Proposals, Communications, and Brand Strategy. This is not a traditional marketing role. You will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, shaping how ATCS tells its story, wins work, and positions itself for long-term success. The Corporate Marketing Manager will elevate traditional proposals into compelling marketing packages that align with ATCS brand, messaging, and aggressive growth goals, refining technical engineering content into clear, persuasive, client-focused materials. This individual must be local to and based in our Herndon headquarters where we offer a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 15+ years of marketing experience with demonstrated strategic leadership responsibility.
  • Management: Proven experience leading and developing creative or marketing teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: A/E/C industry experience is required; ability to translate technical content is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Core Competencies: Strong strategic thinking, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and superior time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Positioning Brings a PR-driven mindset to the A/E/C space, transforming technical data into persuasive, brand-aligned storytelling.
  • Develop and implement corporate marketing goals that align with ATCS vision, values, and brand.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to elevate ATCS external presence and industry standing.
  • Participate in industry events and professional organizations to stay current with client requirements and emerging technology.
  • Proposal Strategy & Sales Enablement Connect departmental responsibilities between Inside Sales (proposal development) and Corporate Marketing (branding and positioning).
  • Reimagine proposals as strategic marketing packages rather than simple compliance documents.
  • Refine and translate technical engineering text into clear, compelling, sales-oriented content.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure all deliverables are succinct, polished, and readable.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship Lead and develop the Corporate Marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
  • Identify training opportunities and stay current on industry trends to continually elevate team performance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal clients, technical staff, and senior leadership.
  • Marketing & Communications Execution Lead the development of all marketing collateral, including email marketing, social media, and multi-media presentations.
  • Review and edit content produced by team members to ensure quality and brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with corporate and technical staff to ensure all materials meet ATCS and client standards.
  • Manage multiple high-priority tasks and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
