About The Position

SWBC is seeking a talented individual who will develop, execute, and manage traditional and digital marketing campaigns to support the company’s Financial Institutions Group, including events, and sponsorships. This role partners closely with internal clients and senior leaders to deliver proactive, consultative, and elevated client service that strengthens brand positioning, supports relationship-driven growth, and enhances presence within highly regulated financial markets. Utilizes a mix of print, digital, social media, email marketing, and live-event marketing to support financial institution audiences. In this role, you will partner closely with internal clients and senior leaders to elevate marketing efforts for the Financial Institutions Group. You’ll act as a trusted marketing advisor, owning campaigns and events, delivering high-touch client service, and helping position the organization as a strong, credible partner within the financial services industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience developing and executing marketing campaigns, strategies, and content across digital, traditional, and/or event-based channels.
  • Experience supporting Financial Institutions, banking organizations, or other highly regulated industries, with demonstrated understanding of compliance-sensitive marketing.
  • Proven ability to support and market professional services through campaigns, events, conferences, and sponsorships.
  • Demonstrated ability to comfortably work with and present to C-suite and senior leadership, acting as a trusted marketing partner.
  • Proven ability to work as a proactive individual contributor who takes full ownership of campaigns, events, and deliverables from concept through execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial offerings into clear, compelling marketing messaging.
  • Experience delivering elevated, consultative client service and providing high-touch, relationship-focused support to internal clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring innovative ideas that enhance event impact, campaign effectiveness, and client experience.
  • Working knowledge of B2B marketing best practices, including digital, email, and event marketing.
  • Proficient in inbound marketing, campaign development, performance measurement, and reporting.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and ownership-minded approach to work.
  • Strong project and event management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting, content development, and editing skills with attention to grammar, tone, and regulatory awareness.
  • Ability to bring innovative, practical solutions that enhance client experience and event engagement.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements marketing strategies in support of Financial Institutions Group business goals, including events and sponsorship initiatives, aligning with company objectives, industry trends, regulatory considerations, and budget.
  • Serves as a strategic thought partner to internal clients and leadership, advising on branding, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for financial institution audiences.
  • Partners proactively with internal clients to help shape and clarify their vision, translating business objectives into integrated marketing plans, campaigns, and event strategies.
  • Owns campaigns end-to-end, including concept development, execution, vendor coordination, optimization, and post-campaign or post-event analysis.
  • Plans, supports, and executes marketing for industry events, conferences, sponsorships, and association partnerships, ensuring consistent brand presence and high-quality execution.
  • Writes, edits, and produces content including, but not limited to, thought leadership, event materials, presentations, marketing collateral, email campaigns, digital content, and advertising copy tailored to financial institution leaders and decision-makers.
  • Provides elevated client service by anticipating needs, maintaining clear communication, and delivering marketing and event solutions that exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Brings forward innovative ideas and solutions to increase visibility, engagement, and impact within the financial services and banking space.
  • Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, compliance, events, and leadership to ensure alignment, quality, and timely execution.
  • Develops campaign and event metrics, tracks performance, and reports on effectiveness, ROI, and business impact.
  • Stays current on financial institution, banking, and regulated-industry trends through research, industry publications, and professional development.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
