About The Position

The Corporate/Litigation Attorney manages some or all of the firm’s corporate transactions, litigation, immigration, mergers and acquisitions, and family law matters. The role conducts legal research, drafts and refines legal documents, represents clients in legal proceedings, negotiates contracts, resolves disputes, and identifies and mitigates legal risks. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Active Tennessee State license.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Manage some or all of corporate transactions, litigation, immigration, mergers and acquisitions, and family law matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs for attorneys, clients, and judicial bodies.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and other legal proceedings.
• Review and refine complex legal documents, including contracts.
• Negotiate contracts and resolve legal disputes.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks to prevent costly litigation.
• Perform due diligence on contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.
